Sandra Babu has filed a case against buisness partner Vijay Babu for assault.
In shocking turn of events, a case has been filed against Malayalam actor Vijay Babu by business partner Malayalam actress Sandra Thomas for allegedly assaulting her. This controversial incident took place at her office in Elamakkara on Tuesday, stated the police. He allegedly assaulted, kicked her on the stomach and threatened her during a film-related discussion. Apparently, she wanted to end the business relationship, but he wasn’t happy. Sandra has been admitted to a private hospital following the incident. To add to it, Vijay Babu has denied the incident – Vijay Babu has taken to social media to clarify the controversy. He stated, a fake case had been filed by his most trusted partner and her husband because they wanted to take over the property. He aims to prove what he said was true and has thanked his fans for their concern.
Sandra- Vijay are the co-founders of the Friday Film House – a production company. The industry is shocked over this news as Friday Film house has produced at least 10 movies so far – Adi Kapyare Koottamani, Monkey Pen, Philip, Peruchazhi, Zakkariayude Garbhinikal among others.
In an earlier interview with Times of India, here’s what Vijay had to say about associating with Sandra Thomas – I have always enjoyed spotting the spark in a youngster and moulding them. In almost all our films, we have welcomed talented newcomers. I found the spark in Sandra too. At that point, I was bored of the corporate life and was on the lookout for the ideal business partner. For me, partnership is all about complementing each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I found that Sandra and I have the same wavelengths and we complement each other too. I’m good at the profit side while Sandra is good at talking and negotiating with people. A man-woman partnership can work beautifully in general; I have always felt women can organise something neatly and perfectly in a way men can’t.
